Principal’s Message

Dear Whitmore Charter Students and Families, welcome to the 2022- 2023 school year!

I am excited for my role as the school’s principal, and am especially looking forward to meeting the fantastic students, families, and staff here at Whitmore Charter. While this will be my first year as the principal at Whitmore Charter, it will also be my fifth year as a principal, and fourteenth year in Education.

This school has an excellent reputation and is successful year after year because of the strong families that make up Whitmore Charter. Your continued support, and communication will be critical in your students, and this school's success.  I firmly believe that if students enjoy coming to school, they try harder and when students try harder, they do better. The same is true for adults. My hope for everyone is that you feel welcome, and a sense of pride while you are on campus. Each year we spend 180 days together, over an 11 month period; Whitmore should feel like a home to everyone.

While there is much for me to learn, I have been very impressed, and humbled by the warm welcome and amount of support from the school staff I have received so far.

We know that our communication with families plays a vital role in the success of our students. Each student will have a welcome packet on the first day of school which will include the school calendar and important classroom information. Please review the information in this packet. This handbook will provide more information about our school’s mission, awards, discipline, communications, curriculum, grading, as well as motivational plans and health and safety guidelines. In September, our monthly newsletter, the Paw Print, will be posted on ParentSquare.  The Paw Print  contains school activities, and upcoming events, and information about the school at large.

We have everything we need to make Whitmore Charter the absolute best school in Ceres Unified School District. Let’s get to work!
